“I did my shoot a year ago in 2021. Matina had been trying to convince me for 5 years but I was too scared. I finally decided to do this for my 35th birthday. I was really nervous walking into my session because I still wasn't comfortable in my own skin. I've never worn lingerie before, so I didn't think I would look good. But, Matina made me feel completely safe and showed me that I could be confident in anything I do. After I saw my photos, I didn't see just a mom... I saw a fierce woman that can take on the world. “I decided to do a session because my sister had done one and really enjoyed it. I was also getting married a few months later and thought that would be an amazing gift. I was TERRIFIED. I am a very timid person, was always labeled shy and quiet by people who didn’t know me really well. I took a few different outfit options because I didn’t know how brave I would be. Matina was INCREDIBLE, she made me feel SO comfortable and even convinced me to do some “perceived nudity” shots (I think that’s the term she used) which I NEVER imagined I’d be open to. The gals that did hair and make up were also awesome, they made me feel so sexy and as someone who never wears makeup that was rare for me. When Matina sent me my online preview I was blown away! I have always hated pictures of myself (still do 99% of the time) but I LOVED the pictures she took. I wish I lived a bit closer to California because I would love for Matina to be able to take my maternity photos and eventually family photos! (Maybe someday)”

“My first ever Boudoir was with Matina and it definitely won’t be my last. Unfortunately I was too nervous to do anything too revealing in my first photo shoot so I stuck with dresses. The second time i decided I wasn’t gonna miss out just because I was nervous, so I did a real boudoir photo shoot. At first I was super nervous, I’ve always been “cute” to everyone since I’m so tiny, but this time I wanted to be sexy for once. Matina and her team definitely delivered! Once my hair and makeup was done, it was time to put on the skimpy outfits in front of everyone, yikes. But from the second I stepped out everyone was so amazing. They made me feel beautiful and sexy. It took only moments to totally get into it. After the first few shots I felt like a model. I never dreamed I could be so completely at ease dressed in barely anything, but I did! The entire experience was so eye opening and so fun, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. So if you want to feel and look amazing inside and out put yourself in Matina’s very capable hands. I can guarantee you won’t be sorry!”
